McKinsey Just Dropped its 2025 AI Report: You Should Be Concerned
The AI Divide: The Winners and the Forgotten

McKinsey’s 2025 AI report tells a concerning tale.
One percent of companies have mastered AI.
Ninety-two percent plan to spend more on it.
Nearly half believe AI will change a third of their work this year.
But belief is not action.
Eighty-seven percent think AI will bring them more money in three years.
Only nineteen percent see that happening today.
Hope is not a plan.
The Few Who Win
Some companies know what to do. They do not wait. They do not talk. They build.
They use AI to make decisions, not just test ideas.
They train their people, while others fumble in the dark.
They replace slow work with automation, while competitors waste time.
Meanwhile, half of employees say no one is helping them with AI. Leadership talks about the future, but workers are stuck in the past.
The Generation Split
AI does not scare the young.
Sixty-two percent of millennials (35-44) say they know AI well.
Only twenty-two percent of boomers say the same.
Millennials are 1.4 times more likely to use AI than their older colleagues.
The ones making the decisions are often the least prepared.
The Truth is Simple
This has happened before. The same way it always does.
The internet came. The bold built new empires. The slow fell behind. AI will do the same.
The companies moving now will own their industries. The ones who wait will not matter.
If you are reading this, you have a choice.
Move, or be left behind.
Keep up the good work,
Chris
